Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR WRITING MANUSCRIPTS:

Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published or are not in the process of being submitted for publication in other media and do not contain elements of plagiarism. There is a maximum of 25% plagiarism tolerance for each article. Manuscripts can be in the form of research, case studies, or literature reviews. Authors must register themselves as authors. Guidelines for registering and submitting papers can be found at the following link (http://www.jurnal.kampuswiduri.ac.id/index.php/infoteh/user/register). Manuscripts will be published in Infotech: Journal of Technology Information after going through the peer reviewer process. MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES (MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE):

*TITLE: The title should be short, clear, and informative, but no longer than 15 words. The title should be precise and appropriate to the problem being discussed. The title should not contain any unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written first and followed by its explanation. Name of author and institution. The author's name should be accompanied by the author's study program and institution, and correspondence email address, without academic titles and positions.

*ABSTRACT: Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. The abstract is made in one paragraph consisting of background, objectives, research methods, results or conclusions, and keywords (3-5 phrases).

*INTRODUCTION:  The introduction should contain (briefly and sequentially) the general background and literature review (state of the art), the main research problem, and the research method. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of the article should be stated.

*RESEARCH METHODS: Research methods contain an overview of the research methods used in the development or analysis of systems, applications, or algorithms. Data collection methods, be it primary data or secondary data. System/Algorithm Design whether it is Flowchart, UML Diagram (Use Case, Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram), Database design (ERD), and Pseudocode or algorithm used.

*RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Results and Discussion. This section consists of the results of the research and how the results are discussed. The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data. The research results and findings should be the answer, or research hypothesis stated earlier in the introduction section. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objective outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide a scientific interpretation for each result or finding you present (why)? Are your results consistent with what other researchers have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?

*CONCLUSIONS: The conclusion should address the research objectives and research findings. The conclusion should not simply contain a repetition of the results and discussion or an abstract. You should also suggest future research and point out ongoing research.

*BIBLIOGRAPHY: The references listed in the References contain only the sources referenced or included in the article. Please use Reference Manager Apps such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Reference sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years and 20% from books. The technique of writing a bibliography, using the American Psyhological Association (APA) 7th edition citation system.
